Name.com Says Mo’ Business Mo’ Money!

Since we love small business at Name.com, we try to do whatever we can to help our small business customers get more recognition for their hard work and success. We are going to sponsor 5 interviews each month on MO.COM featuring Name.com customers who are either founders or CEO’s of their companies.

Heard of MO.COM? It’s a site dedicated to interviews with entrepreneurs from all industries around the world. The interviews focus on their habits and the goal is to learn about their methods and share these strategies with their readers. As a reader it’s a great way to explore different business philosophies and as an entrepreneur, it’s a great way to get exposure for both yourself and your business. The “MO” appropriately stands for “modus operandi” which other Latin speakers (or anyone with a computer) may know means “mode of operating or working.”

We’re on the hunt for Name.com customers to feature in these interviews, which is a great chance to be seen next to the likes of Aaron Wall (SEObook.com) and Alex Farcet (startupbootcamp). If you have any suggestions for entrepreneurs that are Name.com customers, please post them in the comments. If you want to suggest yourself, that’s perfectly fine! We’d love to hear from you.

Check out TownWebDesign.com, founded by Dustin Overbeck in Wisconsin in 2007.

Dustin's relationship with Name.com started way back in Oct 2008, we was on the phone with GoDaddy. The purpose of his call was to find out why there was a sudden price increase with some of his client domain names. He was put on hold — longer than expected — and while waiting, he discovered Name.com and has been with them since then.

Although he switched to Name.com primarily do to the lower pricing, there was one big discovery that made the switch all the more sweeter — instant enabling of Google Apps.

Over the past 18 months, Dustin has found the personal assistance and help with Name.com to be superb. Once he had accidentally purchased a domain with a typo and it went unnoticed for about a week. A simple email to Name.com explaining what happened was all that was needed to get a credit for the amount.

When Dustin works with Name.com, he feels he gets the same kind of excellent customer service with a personable feel that he gives to his own clients.
