Question: Funniest Misspellings?

Happy Monday! We’re feeling a little inquisitive again, and this time we’d like to hear about some of the funniest misspelled domains you’ve registered.

Does this sound familiar? You think of an awesome domain name, you find that it is still available, and with the swiftness of a fox you push that checkout button…only to find out that “elite” does not in fact have two “L’s” in it.

Unfortunately this happens to the best of us. We want to know what some of your funniest misspellings have been, and just like last time we’ll give out $25 in account credit to a random commenter. So bring on the comments!

This is always the problem. Domain names should be writted with bigger font. I often see domains like fnupics.com (FunPics) or lamElite.com (LameElite). Kinda anagrams or…?

I never bought a misspelled domain name, but funny thing I remember is foofle.com (letter F is next to letter G)… It redirects to google.com ;)

You can see that there are also domains starting Gogle.com continuing to Gooooooooooogle.com (11x “o”). :)

    • namedotcom

      Hah, that's a good one.

      • Agim Ramqaj

Yes :) Insted of asking someone 'Do you Google?' you can ask 'Do you Foofle?' – I bet that most of visitors might think that you're asking them smth related to censored things :)

It was for by client, so $3.99 out of my pocket, not a huge deal.

I recently registered Saxaphone.Co and didn't notice my misspelling until after registration. It gets 16% of the exact searches that the proper spelling gets, but that's still over 60k searches. I'm cool with it. :) And, yes, it is for sale.
